An exploration of suspended emotions — where color becomes memory and silence turns into light.
(Subtitle) This is expressed through single-layer or multi-layer pieces on translucent surfaces: colored portraits layered and blending through each stratum, creating a mysterious transparency and fluidity reminiscent of watercolor.
Here the inspiration comes from the stratification of the human personality. Some traits are not so special in themselves, but in combination with other characteristics they give a beautiful whole.
In these works, complex color combinations are formed by the stacking of simple, one-colored layers. The viewer can rediscover the separate colors in the 3D depth of the work.
In addition, it was my aim to make a modern variant of watercolor. Representing the aspect of transparency and water fluidity thanks to digital coloring operations. This also enhances the emotional expression of the models. The combination with the plexi materials and the virtual white frame gives the whole special color depth and lightness.
